There are two types of lists: A graphical overview and a table version. You can decide for yourself which one suits your purpose best.

Lists have tabs that show selections in specific groups. For example the tab: action required, active or archive.

​Action required
If an item requires action, they are specifically listed under the [action required] tab. But they are also under the [active] tab. They then have a yellow background, so that it stands out in the list of active items.
