A sale is a transaction between two or more parties in which the buyer receives tangible or intangible goods, services, or assets in exchange for money.
In Bricr we use the sales functionality specific to collect new orders.
A sales process is a set of repeatable steps that a sales person takes to take a prospect from the early stage of awareness to a closed sale. In Bricr, we have classified the steps as follows: Deals inbox, Pipeline, Orders and Invoices.
The pipeline has smaller steps: Contact made, Needs defined, Qualified, Quotation made, Quotation sent, Quotation Accepted, Order made and Order sent.

An example
You are invited together with two other real estate agents to sell a house. You will try to convince the selling party that you are the most suitable person with all the means at your disposal. When you have received the assignment, the functionality in Sales has been completed in Bricr.
The property that you are allowed to sell will be entered under the PIM functionality and the responses you will collect will be entered in the CRM functionality. So a completely new process begins.
