To add an object in Bricr, we follow the so-called "round-by-house" logic. The cards that we have developed where you enter the data, align with it in sequence. In the left menu under [PIM intake] you find the basic logic.
Depending on whether you are working on a single object or a project, the default cards will be different.
The default cards under general section for a single object:
• Address information
• Property details
• Construction information
• Availability
• Status
The default cards under general section for a project:
• Address information
• Types of properties
• Measurements
Address information - card
When you add a new object to your portfolio, the first card under [PIM intake] > [General] > [Address information] will be filled with that data.
The country is default set based on the settings under [Settings] > [General] > [General account] > [Preferences] > [Country].
With the address card for a project you can specify the name of the project and the house number series.
Property details - card
The type of property (apartment or house) is determined when creating the object, but can always be modified here. Based on the type you make a choice for what type or apartment or type of house.
For an apartment you can also indicate on which floor the apartment is located in the building and how many floors the entire building has.
Construction information - card
By default, when input, the object will be set to "existing". However, you can also determine that it is a new-build house after all.
Existing
Determine the year of construction from and to.
New
Determine the year of construction from and to.
Determine is it is under construction or in development.
Availability - card
Set the availability of the property: In consultation, Immediately or By date.
If you select by date then you can also enter the actual date.
Status - card
If you enter a new object, the status will be set to available by default.
Select a status that corresponds to the real situation. If desired, you can add and choose a customisation option. (see options)
You can activate more cards under General. To do this, use the blue button [ Additional information] at the top right of the page. (see additional information)
If you do this, it can be different per object.
Types of properties - card
In a complex building it is important to validate all variables properly.
In this card we validate three important values:
• Amount of object types in the building
• Amount of linked units to the building
• Amount of floors in the building
The number in brackets is the difference between actually linked floors, linked object types or linked units and the number you have entered here yourself in this card.
You can also indicate in this card the progress of the project, the project risk and dates that are important for the project.
Measurements - card
If no units have been linked yet, you can still specify variables for: number of rooms in a unit, living space of a unit or the area of the plot.
There is also a special ability to calculate those numbers automatically based on the units linked. Use the checkbox [Automatically calculate quantity].
You will be warned before executing.
Extra cards
With the blue button at the top of the page you can add more card to the selected property.
That way, each individual can show other cards that apply to that object.
Extra cards are different for each type of property.
Simply click the desired card on or off.
If you have entered information into a card and you turn it off, we will keep the information in the background so that if you decide to turn the card back on, the information is available again.
