Manage options

Default and custom options

Updated over a year ago

Bricr provides you with standard options in many places. These will sometimes not suffice in your situation, so we have given the option to add them ourselves.

The default values always have the same icon. You may select an icon from the options for your own option.

Give a custom name for your option, select an icon and click [+ add].

The new option is now available (please note: this for you AND your colleagues)

Edit or delete
If you made a typo in an option or you want to use the option anymore, a user with the permissions to Settings > Options can edit or delete it.

Go to: Settings > Manage options and select the option you want to change.

Edit
Click on the option you want to edit. A modal opens. Edit the name and select another icon if needed.

Delete
Click on te red cross on the right top of the icon.

A model opens to confirm.

Result
Wherever this option is used, the will be shown as inactive until a new value is chosen, as changes can no longer be saved with this option, as it is no longer available.

Manage options
There are many places in the application where options are used. We have categorised the options in the settings menu by name where they are used.

General
Are options for the entire application such as for example type of emails or type of functions.

PIM > Shared
Shared means that options are managed that apply to general PIM.
For example, heating sources, which is not specific to a type of real estate.

PIM > Shared for 1 object
These are options that apply to any type of real estate if it concerns a single object, so no new construction project or commercial building.

PIM > Shared for 1 project
These are options that apply to any type of real estate if it concerns a multiple object, as a new construction project , relet complex or commercial building.

Specific type of real estate options
These are options that are very specific to that type of property.
